What customers say?

“ We visited the Milkhouse several times while in Midway for Christmas. We had tapas in the snow globes twice and EVERYTHING was delicious! The chef and the entire team made it feel so special. Makari went above and beyond making sure our kids had fun too! We can’t wait to come back! ”

“ We stayed there Saturday for breakfast with Santa although others might have been upset with the amount of people and waiting time, we had a very different experience when we visited. The baristas were friendly, communicative, and clearly doing their best under challenging circumstances. There was a long line and a high volume of food orders, with only one oven that appeared to be having issues. They were upfront with customers about longer food wait times and offered alternative options, like yogurt cups, for anyone who didn’t want to wait. From what we saw, the staff handled a difficult situation with patience and professionalism. It was obvious they were doing their best in a tough situation. ”

“ We are enjoying a latte and a London fog at the best coffee place. This place is a gem. And they have these great geodesic solar huts for relaxing and staying cozy if you so choose. Great tile, design, and yummy coffee in the main building. ”

- Melissa Blackburn -

“ The Milk House is a cute little spot with rocking chairs out front, a patio in the back, and some indoor seating. They have some breakfast options such as an egg croissant sandwich, yogurt parfait, and breakfast burrito. There are also sweet treats and coffee. The product availability varies day to day (based on our 5 day stay at Homestead). It makes for a convenient and quick breakfast option, especially if you are staying at the resort. ”

“ Stopped by here heading to strawberry reservoir. I got an iced Carmel macchiato and a sunrise muffin. I wanted to try a muffin I haven’t had before, the muffin was apple and carrot didn’t think I would like it but ended up really enjoying it! Relaxing atmosphere and friendly faces. ”

“ Had to stop in for some coffee while we were out and about. My son wanted to try the hot chocolate but iced, and the lady behind the counter said she would try to do that for him. He ended up with a nice hot cocoa that was delicious. We also got scoops of ice cream, which was good kind of like a soft serve. I would stop in again if we were in the area. It’s a cute little coffee shop, there’s also chess games on the tables, if you’re so inclined. ”

“ Oh this place was SO CUTE! I had to resist the urge to order some of everything just to taste. I started with coconut and raspberry ice cream & I should’ve stuck to the sample because I wanted to eat food and take the ice cream home lol it was perfect! Then I had a chicken pesto spinach wrap which was toasted and also very tasty. It was fresh and high quality unlike the food at America’s favors asterisk/dollar bill coffee shop lol I was pleasantly surprised. I also had a lemon donut which was quite literally thee best donut I’ve ever had! I had a bag of natural kettle chips and they set the wrap off. They had cute little games on the table and it was reminiscent of a quaint coffee shop in a small winter town! I loved it and will definitely be back! My sister, an avid coffee drinker (which I should have tasted but had no room) said the expresso was mediocre and that was heartbreaking to me but she would know! She had a blueberry muffin and said it was nothing to write home about either. It’s obvious we were at two different establishments I included that because she tried things I did not and I like to be honest and neutral! Would love to try the salad, other pastries, ice cream flavors, matcha/coffee, and cold pressed juice so it’s like obvious that I must return!! Unsolicited advice: Press the stamp a little harder on the bag so the name is fully legible love the stamped bags though—so farmhouse chic! ”

“ The Milk House is a pleasant surprise. The Homestead Resort is stunning and perfectly maintained. The Milk House added the something I didn’t know we needed, a quaint coffe shop with a good selection of fresh food/prepackaged food options. Everything from here was delicious. The environment is welcoming and warm. ”
